Diagonal vs. Straight Rows
Here's the question: Is it better to build a maze with straight rows or diagonal?
Here is the start of a maze build with 13 towers (the grey blocks). It will force runners to move 14 squares.
This is a diagonal maze built with 13 towers just like the map above. Fieldrunners will have to travel an additional 8 spaces! Additionally they will have to make a 90 degree turn almost every move which slows them down.
When building mazes always try to build on a diagonal to get the most bang for you buck out of towers.
